There’s still the odd bit of good news:
- 51 IDA companies set up Ireland 2010 so far which doesn’t get publicized
- 12.5% Corporation Tax is hear to stay. Europe will not make us change it.
- 41% income tax is one of the lowest in Europe. If we really wanted to we could increase it and close deficit gaps etc
- The Irish Banking system is sorted – Plans are in place, agreed by Europe. Yes it is a burden but it has been dealt with. All other EU states have similar banking crisis and are dealing with their’s.
